Tips For Making Oreo M&M Blondies
To clarify, I have given you some tips on how to successfully make this recipe! For the full instructions, check out the recipe card below.
- Properly Preheat the Oven: Ensure your oven is fully preheated to 350°F (175°C) before placing the blondies inside. This helps with even baking.
- Use Room Temperature Eggs: Room temperature eggs mix more evenly into the batter and can prevent underbaking.
- Don’t Overmix: When combining the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mix just until everything is combined. Overmixing can lead to dense and undercooked blondies.
- Test for Doneness: To prevent raw centers, use a toothpick or a cake tester. Insert it into the center of the blondies – if it comes out with a few moist crumbs but not raw batter, they’re done.
- Golden Top: Aim for a golden-brown top; this is a good indicator of doneness. It usually takes about 25-30 minutes, but it can vary slightly based on your oven.
- Cooling Time: Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes after removing them from the oven. This helps them set further.
- Avoid Overcrowding: Ensure the blondie batter is spread evenly over the Oreos; overcrowding can lead to uneven baking.
- Quality Oven Thermometer: Sometimes oven temperature can vary, so using an oven thermometer can help ensure your oven is at the correct temperature for baking.

- Whisk: Used for whisking together the melted butter and brown sugar.
- Spatula: A rubber spatula is helpful for gently folding the dry ingredients and mix-ins into the batter.
- Cooling Rack: To allow the blondies to cool after baking.
- Toothpick or Cake Tester: For testing the doneness of the blondies by inserting it into the center to check for moist crumbs.
- Oven Thermometer: Optional but helpful to ensure your oven is at the correct temperature.

Instructions
For the blondies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, using metal binder clips to secure the parchment paper to the sides. Lightly spray the sides and the bottom of the pan with cooking spray.

- Using a rubber spatula, gently fold together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, Christmas M&M candies, and semi-sweet chocolate chips until they are evenly distributed throughout the batter. Do not overmix; you want a thick blondie batter.
- Evenly spread the blondie batter over the Oreo cookies in the baking dish.
